My research focuses on the ways in which cognitive, neurological, and experiential factors interact to shape conceptual development. My work to date has examined this general question by testing interactions between executive functioning, neuromaturation, and relevant experiences in the context of preschoolers' theory-of-mind development. I primarily work with Dr. Mark Sabbagh in the Early Experience Lab, and I collaborate with the Infant Cognition Group on a project examining early theory of mind in infancy.
